Aldridge Kerr Achieves Women’s Business Enterprise Certification

WBENCAldridge, Kerr & Associates, Inc. has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise. The Women’s Business Council – Southwest (WBCS), a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), served as the qualifying organization.

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrates their commitment to developing a diverse network of qualified vendors and suppliers.

“As part of our commitment to our Clients, we are pleased to offer this additional benefit to our Clients’ supplier diversity programs,” said Charlene Aldridge, president of Aldridge Kerr.

WBENC’s stringent national standard of certification requires an in-depth review of a business as well as a site inspection. The process is designed to confirm that the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated, and managed by a woman or women, with documented evidence of contribution of capital and/or expertise.
