Case Study:
Create or update your Policy and Procedures Manuals

The client had established policies and procedures; the procedures were not being followed. In addition, the units within the department were not supporting each other and there was an undercurrent of conflict. This client needed the existing manual updated, but also needed to address the undefined issues within the department.

  • reviewed the existing manual to gain understanding of the defined policies and procedures.
  • interviewed all members of the department to assess the staff’s understanding of the defined policies and procedures and evaluate the environment.
  • provided direction to the client regarding the organizational issues, recommending several approaches to address the issues.

The following were results for this project:
  • revised the existing procedures and created a new policies and procedures manual.
  • , as their Meeting Planner, researched and located an off-site location for a Team Building 4-day departmental meeting. also acted as facilitator and coordinator of the meeting.
