Case Study: Develop User’s Guide to support computer system

An client purchased an "off-the-shelf" accounting system that had to be customized to meet the
client’s specific needs. The existing environment had been manual-intensive and new processes were
needed to accompany the newly purchased system.

worked with the client to develop new processes to support the new computer system.
Existing manual processes were evaluated and compared to the process the system would support.

established new processes to support the new computer system.
Once the processes were established, a User’s Guide was developed that included:
- the processes that support the new computer system,
- overviews of the system and the many processes which occur while using the system,
- a detailed review of how to use the system, including the system screens and helpful hints.
