Pete Hernandez, Senior Consultant:

Pete Hernandez brings a wide range of experience in:

  • Project Management and Account Management from both the I.T and business side of company operations.
  • Customer support and satisfaction.
  • Insurance coverage's and operations.
  • Application maintenance of PC and mainframe based systems.
  • Project Management, which includes the development and maintenance of the various plans needed to manage a project.
  • Participation on project teams at various levels throughout his career, including manager, user representative, and both business and systems analyst. This gives Pete a comprehensive view of the roles and dynamics of a project and its team.
  • Experience in both systems and business analysis.
  • Direct management and supervision of both exempt and non-exempt employees, which includes staffing, budgeting, mentoring, and other supervisory duties.
Pete has 23 years of insurance experience and has supported a variety of projects, which include but are not limited to:
  • Project Manager in the development, maintenance, and implementation of systems projects.
  • Managing a comprehensive due diligence process to evaluate prospective company partnership appointments.
  • Negotiating with business partners for services and pricing for those services.
  • Evaluating insurance processing systems and agency interface operations.
  • Management experience at various levels within the I.T. and business sides of an organization, from business systems analyst to company officer. This experience includes the management of application and systems programmers, business system analysts, and operations analysts.

Pete is certified from the Insurance Institute of America as

  • Associate in Automation Management, and
  • Supervisory Management.

Pete is also certified in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is studying towards his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.

Pete’s hobbies include movies, reading, grilling, and sports. He enjoys travel and is a big Dallas Stars fan.
